Neapolitan Cake - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 scant c. butter
1 c. sweet milk
3 level tsp. baking powder
1 grated orange rind
2 c. sugar
3 c. cake flour
1/4 tsp. salt
3 whole eggs
Preparation

Cream butter and sugar; add eggs, salt and orange rind and beat well.
Sift flour with baking powder.
Add flour and milk alternately.
When well mixed, put half of batter in 3 (9-inch) cake pans.
To remainder of batter, add 3 tablespoons of cocoa and 1/4 teaspoon soda dissolved in just enough hot water to make a paste.
Put in pans with first and bake.
