Brunswick Stew - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    5 to 6 lb. hen
    2 lb. cubed lean pork
    6 medium onions
    6 medium potatoes
    3 large cans tomatoes
    2 cans tiny lima beans
    2 cans Shoe Peg corn
    3 or more Tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
    salt and pepper to taste
Preparation
    Boil hen until very tender.
    Skin and bone.
    Skim most of grease off liquid, then cook pork and onion in it.
    Meanwhile, cook cut up potatoes and tomatoes together, being careful not to let potatoes scorch.
    When all done, combine all ingredients together in large pot.
    Season with salt, pepper and Worcestershire sauce.
    Allow to simmer gently for several hours until the consistency of thick soup.
    Stir occasionally to prevent scorching.
    Freezes well.
