White Fudge - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. sugar
    1/2 c. sour cream
    1/2 c. white corn syrup
    2 Tbsp. butter
    1/4 tsp. salt
    2 tsp. vanilla
    1/4 c. candied cherries, chopped
    1 c. walnuts
Preparation
    Cook first 5 ingredients to a soft ball stage (236\u00b0).
    Cool for 15 minutes; then add vanilla and beat by hand until candy loses its shine.
    Add cherries and nuts.
    Pour in a glass pan. Cool and cut into squares.
