Ingredients

1 egg
1/2 tsp. salt
1 c. flour
1 c. milk
Preparation

Beat egg; add flour and salt.
Add milk gradually and beat until batter is smooth.
This is a very thin batter.
Pour some pancake batter onto a hot greased frying pan, allowing it to run over the entire surface of the pan in a thin layer.
When edges are golden brown, turn and fry on the other side.
These may be served with butter and sugar and syrup or jam.
They are also good with applesauce, cinnamon and sugar.
Makes about 8 pancakes.
