Creamed Potato Soup - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 medium potatoes
    1 tsp. salt
    1 medium onion, chopped
    1 Tbsp. butter or margarine
    1 c. light cream
    4 c. water
Preparation
    Peel and cube the potatoes, then place in a large saucepan. Add water and the salt.
    Bring to a boil, then cook until tender. Mash the potatoes in the stock.
    Saute the onion in the butter until transparent, then add to the potatoes.
    Add the cream and heat thoroughly.
