Chicken Barley Soup - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 chicken breasts or 1 (2 to 3 lb.) fryer
    1 1/2 c. diced carrots
    1 c. diced celery
    1/2 diced onion
    1/2 c. barley
    1 chicken bouillon cube
    1 tsp. salt
    1/2 tsp. poultry seasoning
    1/4 tsp. pepper
    1/2 tsp. dried sage
    1 bay leaf
Preparation
    Cook chicken in 2 quarts water.
    Remove chicken; cool and cut up.
    Add remaining ingredients and cook about 1/2 to 1 hour. Remove bay leaf before serving.
