Old Fashioned Chocolate Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 c. sugar
    1/3 c. cocoa
    1/3 c. flour
    2 c. boiling water
    pinch of salt
    4 eggs, separated
    3 Tbsp. butter
    1/2 tsp. each vanilla and almond flavorings
    2 to 3 tsp. cornstarch
    2 Tbsp. water
    1 (9-inch) baked pie crust
Preparation
    Mix
    cocoa,
    flour, salt and sugar.
    Slowly stir in the boiling
    water
    and
    return
    to the heat.
    Bring to a boil and cook
    gently until thickened, stirring constantly.\tRemove pan from
    heat.
    Stir
    2 or 3 tablespoons of the chocolate mixture into
    the lightly beaten egg yolks.
    Return to the heat.
    Stir in cornstarch which has been dissolved in 2 tablespoons water. Cook gently
    2 minutes after it comes to a boil.
    Remove from heat
    and stir
    in
    butter and flavorings.
    Cool slightly and pour
    into baked
    crust.
    Cover with meringue, sealing to the crust
    on edges.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 until golden.\tTime of preparation: 30 minutes.
    Serves 6.
