Baked Lithuanian Cheese Slices(Keptas Suris) - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    cheese
    beaten egg
    1 Tbsp. milk
    bread crumbs
Preparation
    Slice cheese into about 1/4-inch thick pieces.
    First, dip each piece of cheese in beaten egg (with milk), then in bread crumbs. Place pieces with dabs of butter on them in a buttered glass baking dish.
    Bake, uncovered, 30 minutes at 300\u00b0.
    Serve immediately from same baking dish.
    Delicious on dark, Lithuanian rye bread.
