Avocado Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 medium size ripe avocados
    1/2 Bermuda onion
    1/2 c. salad oil
    3 Tbsp. lemon juice
    1/2 tsp. sugar
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/8 tsp. pepper
    1 seedless orange
    lettuce
Preparation
    Peel avocados and cut into cubes.
    Slice onion paper thin and separate into rings.
    Place together in a bowl.
    Mix oil, lemon juice, sugar, salt and pepper and pour over.
    Cover bowl and refrigerate for several hours, stirring mixture occasionally. Just before serving, peel and section orange.
    Add to salad and toss lightly.
    Serve over a bed of lettuce.
