Applesauce Jam Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 sticks margarine (soft)
    2 c. white sugar
    2 eggs
    1 c. jam
    3 c. applesauce
    4 tsp. soda
    4 c. sifted flour
    1 tsp. cinnamon
    1/2 tsp. salt, cloves and allspice
    2 Tbsp. cocoa
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1 c. pecans
    1 c. raisins
Preparation
    Cream butter, sugar and eggs; beat well after each egg.
    Add jam.
    Sift all dry ingredients together; sift several times.
    Add a little to nuts and raisins.
    Add to dry ingredients, then add to butter mixture, then applesauce and vanilla.
    Fold in nuts and raisins.
    Bake in tube pan at 325\u00b0 for 1 1/2 hours.
    Use your favorite icing.
