Spinach Fandango - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 (10 oz.) pkg. frozen spinach
    1 lb. ground beef
    1 medium onion, chopped
    1 (10 3/4 oz.) can cream of celery soup
    1 (4 oz.) can mushrooms
    1/2 c. uncooked instant rice
    1 c. sour cream
    dash of garlic powder or 1 Tbsp. minced fresh garlic
    salt and pepper
    thick slices Monterey Jack cheese
Preparation
    Thaw the spinach and drain the excess water.
    Chop if necessary.
    Brown the meat and onion in a large skillet.
    Add the spinach, soup, mushrooms, rice, sour cream, garlic powder and salt and pepper to taste.
    Mix well and place in a 9 x 9-inch baking dish.
    Cover the casserole with thick slices of Monterey Jack cheese.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 30 minutes.
    Makes 8 to 10 servings.
