Cranberry Ice(To Serve With Turkey Dinner) - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 qt. cranberries
    1 qt. water
    2 c. sugar (plus)
    juice of 3 or 4 small lemons
    2 stiffly beaten egg whites
Preparation
    Boil cranberries and water until skins pop.
    Strain through sieve.
    Add 2 cups sugar to each quart juice.
    Return to heat until sugar dissolves.
    Add juice of 1 lemon to each pint juice. Put in freezer.
