Never Fail Lemon Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3/4 c. sugar
    3 Tbsp. cornstarch
    3 egg yolks
    1/4 c. lemon juice
    1 1/4 c. hot water
    1/4 tsp. cream of tartar
    1/2 tsp. vanilla
    6 Tbsp. sugar (add slowly)
Preparation
    When stiff peaks form, add to pie top.
    Bake in 400\u00b0 oven until meringue starts to brown, 3 to 4 minutes.
