Bohemian Nut Roll - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 envelope dry yeast
    1/4 c. warm water
    1 tsp. sugar
    2 c. flour
    1/2 tsp. salt
    3/4 c. stick margarine
    2 eggs, separated
    1/2 c. sugar
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1/2 c. finely chopped pecans
    powdered sugar
Preparation
    Sprinkle yeast over water.
    Sprinkle 1 teaspoon sugar over yeast.
    Let stand 10 minutes for yeast to soften and form.
    In large bowl, mix flour and salt.
    Cut in margarine until mixture resembles coarse meal.
    Stir in egg yolks and yeast mixture; mix until a smooth ball is formed.
