Southern Pecan Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 3/4 c. sugar
    1/4 c. dark corn syrup
    1/4 c. butter
    3 eggs
    1 c. pecans, chopped
    salt
    1 tsp. vanilla extract
    9-inch unbaked pastry shell
Preparation
    Mix sugar, corn syrup and butter.
    Bring to boiling point. Beat eggs.
    Gradually add syrup mixture.
    Add nuts, salt and vanilla.
    Pour into pastry shell and bake at 375\u00b0 for 35 to 40 minutes.
