Vinegar And Cold Water Pickles - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    small cucumbers (wash enough to fill a 1/2 gal. jar)
    2 c. vinegar
    2 Tbsp. salt (canning salt)
    1 1/2 Tbsp. whole mixed spices
    1 Tbsp. powdered alum
Preparation
    Mix the pickling mixture cold. Pour over cucumbers and finish filling jar with cold water. Seal tight for 4 weeks or more.
