Strawberry Cream Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (16 oz.) pkg. strawberry gelatin
    2 (10 oz.) pkg. frozen strawberries, partially thawed
    2 c. boiling water
    1 (13 1/4 oz.) can crushed pineapple, drained
    2 large bananas, sliced
    1 1/2 c. sour cream
Preparation
    Dissolve gelatin in boiling water.
    Add strawberries; stir gently to separate strawberries.
    Add pineapple and bananas.
    Mix well.
    Pour half of gelatin mixture into a 13 x 9 x 2-inch pan. Chill until firm.
    Spread evenly with sour cream.
    Pour remaining mix on top.
    Chill until firm.
    Cut into squares.
    Yields 12 servings.
