Margaret'S Rhubarb Cake - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1/2 c. shortening
1 to 1 1/2 c. brown sugar
1 egg
2 c. flour
1 tsp. soda
1 tsp. salt
1 c. sour milk or buttermilk
1 1/3 c. rhubarb in small pieces
1/4 c. sugar
1 tsp. cinnamon
Preparation

Cream shortening and brown sugar.
Add egg.
Combine flour, soda and salt.
Add milk alternately with flour.
Fold in rhubarb. Sprinkle with sugar and cinnamon.
Bake at 350\u00b0 for 35 to 40 minutes.
Serve warm with whipped cream.
