Victorian Rose Scones - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. all-purpose flour
    1/4 c. sugar
    2 tsp. baking powder
    1/8 tsp. salt
    1/3 c. butter
    1/2 c. heavy whipping cream
    1 large egg
    1 1/2 tsp. vanilla
Preparation
    Blend together flour, sugar, baking powder and salt.
    Cut in butter.
    Mix together whipping cream, egg and vanilla and add to mixture.
    Roll out and cut into circles.
    Place on a greased cookie sheet and bake at 425\u00b0 for 13 to 15 minutes.
    Serve with jam and whipped cream.
