Peach Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 c. peaches
    3 Tbsp. butter
    1 c. flour
    1/2 tsp. baking powder
    1 c. sugar
    1 c. boiling water
    3/4 c. sugar
    1/2 c. milk
    1 tsp. almond extract
    1 Tbsp. cornstarch
    1/2 tsp. salt
Preparation
    Cream 1 cup sugar and butter; add milk, almond extract, baking powder and flour.
    Pour over peaches.
    Combine 3/4 cup sugar, cornstarch and salt; pour over batter.
    Pour water over all.
    Bake at 375\u00b0 for 1 hour.
