Chocolate Pound Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. butter, softened
    3 c. sugar
    3 c. plain flour
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1 c. milk
    2 tsp. black walnut flavoring
    1 1/2 c. chopped nuts, if desired
    1/2 c. vegetable oil
    6 eggs
    1 tsp. baking powder
    4 Tbsp. cocoa (heaping)
    2 tsp. vanilla
Preparation
    Cream together butter and shortening.
    Add sugar.
    Add eggs, one at a time, beating one minute after each.
    Add vanilla and black walnut flavoring.
    Sift all dry ingredients together 3 times.
    Add dry ingredients and milk alternately to cream mixture. Bake in 10-inch tube pan at 325\u00b0 for 80 minutes.
    Cool and frost with chocolate frosting (optional).
