Punch Bowl Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 baked yellow cake mix (with pudding)
    4 bananas
    2 pkg. instant vanilla pudding
    16 oz. can crushed pineapple
    2 containers frozen strawberries
    2 containers Cool Whip
Preparation
    Bake cake according to directions.
    Let cool.
    Crumble 1 layer of cake in bottom of a punch bowl.
    Prepare instant pudding, use 1/2 of pudding on first cake layer.
    Slice bananas, put 1/2 over pudding.
    Pour 1/2 can pineapple (with juice) over bananas.
    Put strawberries 1/4-inch deep over bananas.
    Top with 1 carton Cool Whip.
    Repeat the process, ending with Cool Whip.
    Sprinkle with pecans and refrigerate.
