Potato Surprise - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    30 oz. Southern hash browns
    1 small onion
    1 tsp. salt
    1 can cream of chicken soup
    1 c. sour cream
    1 1/3 c. milk
    2 c. Cheddar cheese
    1/2 c. melted butter
    2 c. crushed cornflakes
Preparation
    Layer the following in a 9 x 13-inch dish, hash browns, onion to taste and salt.
    Mix together cream of chicken soup, sour cream and milk.
    Pour mixture over potatoes.
    Sprinkle Cheddar cheese. Top with mixture of melted butter and cornflakes.
    Bake 1 hour at 350\u00b0.
