Soda Cracker Pie - cooking recipe
Ingredients

3 egg whites
1/2 tsp. cream of tartar
1 c. sugar
18 small soda crackers, broken fine
1 c. finely chopped pecans
1 tsp. vanilla
1/2 c. Cool Whip
2 Tbsp. pineapple preserves
Preparation

Beat egg whites until foaming.
Add cream of tartar.
Beat until stiff.
Add sugar gradually.
Fold in crackers.
Add pecans and vanilla.
Grease pie dish.
Bake at 325\u00b0 for 30 to 35 minutes. When cool, make top.
To Cool Whip, fold in preserves.
Spread on top crust and sprinkle with coconut.
