Fruit Cocktail Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. plain flour
    1 1/2 c. sugar
    2 eggs, beaten
    1 tsp. soda
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1 (No. 2) can fruit cocktail
    1/2 c. brown sugar
    1/2 c. chopped nuts
Preparation
    Sift together flour, sugar, soda and salt. Add eggs and fruit cocktail (and juice). Mix by hand. Pour into a well greased 9 x 13-inch pan. Sprinkle over batter the brown sugar and nuts. Bake in 325\u00b0 oven 40 minutes, then cool.
