Chocolate Turtle Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 pkg. Betty Crocker devil's food cake mix (water, vegetable oil and eggs as called for on cake mix)
    1 (14 oz.) bag caramels
    1/2 c. evaporated milk
    1 c. chopped pecans
    1/2 bag (12 oz.) semi-sweet chocolate chips (1 c.)
Preparation
    Heat oven to 350\u00b0. Grease pan. Make cake batter. Pour half batter into pan. Bake 25 minutes. Heat caramels and milk in saucepan over medium heat. Pour caramel over warm cake in pan. Sprinkle with pecans and chocolate chips. Spread remaining batter. Bake for 30 more minutes. Cool 1 hour before serving. Store at room temperature.
