Pecan Fingers Pies - cooking recipe
Ingredients

3/4 c. shortening
3/4 c. sugar
1 1/2 c. flour
1/2 tsp. salt
1 c. chopped pecans
1/2 c. butter or margarine
2 eggs
2 Tbsp. flour
1 c. brown sugar
1/2 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. vanilla
Preparation

Heat oven to 350\u00b0.
Mix shortening and sugar together thoroughly.
Stir 1 1/2 cups flour into shortening mixture.
With hand, press and flatten mixture evenly in ungreased oblong pan (13 x 9 x 2-inch).
Bake for 12 to 15 minutes.
Combine remaining ingredients; mix well.
Spread over baked layer.
Bake 20 minutes and cool.
