Val'S Squash Pickles - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    8 c. sliced squash
    1 c. sliced onions
    3 large bell peppers, chopped
    3/4 c. salt
    2 c. vinegar
    1 tsp. mustard seed
    1 tsp. celery seed
    3 c. sugar
Preparation
    Sprinkle salt over vegetables and cover with ice water.
    Put a few ice cubes on top.
    Set for 1 hour.
    Drain.
