Pineapple Pound Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 c. sugar
    1 tsp. salt
    2 c. vegetable shortening
    10 eggs
    3 c. all-purpose flour
    1 small can crushed pineapple, drained
Preparation
    Cream sugar and shortening thoroughly.
    Add flour, one cup at a time, with 4 eggs; alternately add 3 eggs each additional time. Add salt.
    Stir in pineapple with spatula.
    Pour into a greased tube pan and bake at 300\u00b0 for 1 1/2 hours.
