Seafood Au Gratin - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 c. chopped onions
1 c. chopped celery
1/2 c. chopped peppers
1 Tbsp. chopped pimento
1/2 lb. butter
4 c. hot half and half cream
1 c. crab
1 c. shrimp
1 c. grated American cheese
1/2 c. white wine
salt and cayenne pepper to taste
Preparation

In a heavy pot, melt butter over medium heat.
Saute all seasonings until soft (about 5 minutes).
Add flour; blend well. Add hot cream.
When mixture thickens, add wine.
Salt and pepper to taste.
Place crab meat and shrimp in a casserole dish; top with the sauce, which should be creamy.
Sprinkle with American cheese.
Bake at 375\u00b0 until bubbly.
