Oatmeal Caramelitas - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 c. flour
2 c. quick oatmeal
1 1/2 c. brown sugar
1 tsp. soda
1/2 tsp. salt
1 1/4 c. margarine, melted
1 (6 oz.) pkg. chocolate chips
1/2 c. nuts (optional)
1 (12 oz.) jar caramel ice cream topping
3 Tbsp. flour
Preparation

Heat oven to 350\u00b0.
Mix flour, oatmeal, brown sugar, soda, salt and melted margarine together.
Pat 1/2 of mixture into a 9 x 13-inch pan; bake for 10 minutes.
Remove from oven.
Put chocolate chips and caramel topping, mixed with flour and nuts, on top.
Sprinkle the rest of the crust mixture on top.
Bake for 18 to 22 minutes.
