Caramel Popcorn - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    6 quarts popped corn (2 air-popped batches)*
    2 sticks margarine or butter
    2 cups light brown sugar
    1 teaspoon salt
    1/2 cup light corn syrup
    1/2 teaspoon baking soda
    1 teaspoon vanilla
Preparation
    *Put popcorn in a lightly buttered large metal mixing bowl.
