Ingredients

1 c. sugar
dash of salt
2 egg whites
2 Tbsp. light corn syrup
2 Tbsp. cold water
1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation

In double boiler over boiling water, beat together sugar, salt, egg whites, corn syrup and water until mixture holds stiff peaks. Remove from heat; beat in vanilla.
Yield:
Enough to cover 3 layer cake.
