Cold Vegetable Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. sugar
    1/4 c. salad oil
    3/4 c. salad vinegar
    1 tsp. salt
    1 small can English peas, drained
    1 large can French-style green beans, drained
    1 small jar pimentos, chopped
    1 medium onion, chopped
    1 medium bell pepper, chopped
    1/2 c. chopped celery
    1 large can whole kernel corn, drained
Preparation
    Mix together sugar, salad oil, vinegar and salt, stirring to dissolve sugar.
    Marinate vegetables in solution for at least 12 hours in refrigerator.
    Drain and serve.
