Spaghetti Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    8 oz. spaghetti noodles, broken into 2-inch pieces
    2 Tbsp. soft butter or margarine
    1/2 c. grated Parmesan cheese
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/4 tsp. pepper
    1 well beaten egg
    1 1/2 lb. ground chuck
    1 medium onion, chopped
    1 green pepper, chopped
    2 cloves garlic, minced
    1 qt. spaghetti sauce
    1 Tbsp. sugar
    1/2 tsp. oregano
    1 lb. cottage cheese
    12 oz. shredded Mozzarella
Preparation
    Cook and drain spaghetti.
    In a large bowl, mix the butter, Parmesan, salt, pepper and egg.
    Add spaghetti; toss and coat well.
    Spread evenly in a 13 x 9-inch pan.
