Angel Cake With Chocolate Sauce - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 (6 oz.) pkg. semi-sweet chocolate morsels
    2 1/2 tsp. water
    2 egg yolks
    2 egg whites
    2 Tbsp. confectioners sugar
    1 c. whipped cream
    1/2 c. chopped nuts
    1 angel food cake
Preparation
    Melt semi-sweet chocolate morsels in double boiler with the water.
    Add egg yolks, one at a time.
    Beat well.
    Add egg whites until stiff and add confectioners sugar.
    Add whipped cream and nuts.
    Gently fold egg white mixture into chocolate mixture. Break angel cake into small pieces and put in Pyrex dish.
    Pour half the sauce over and repeat layers.
    Chill in refrigerator 24 hours.
    Cut in squares and top with whipped cream.

    12 servings.
