Swedish Meat Balls(Slow Cooker) - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 c. bread crumbs
    1 c. milk
    1 1/2 lb. ground chuck
    2 eggs, beaten
    1 medium onion, chopped fine
    1 1/2 tsp. salt
    1/4 tsp. allspice
    1/8 tsp. nutmeg
    2 Tbsp. shortening
    1 can beef broth
    3/4 tsp. dill weed
    1/8 tsp. pepper
Preparation
    Soak bread crumbs in milk for 5 minutes.
    Combine crumb mixture with meat, eggs and next 4 ingredients.
    Shape into balls, about an inch in diameter.
    Heat shortening in skillet and brown meat balls. Place meat balls in slow cooker and add broth, dill weed and pepper.
    Cook on low for 4 hours.
    Makes 3 dozen meat balls.
