Cherry Trifle - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 cooked yellow cake layers
    1 large can crushed pineapple
    1 large can prepared cherry pie filling
    1 large carton whipped topping
    1 large box vanilla instant pudding, prepared according to box instructions
    1 c. chopped nuts
    1 c. coconut
Preparation
    Crumble 1 cake layer in bottom of trifle dish.
    In this order, layer
    1/2
    of
    all remaining ingredients:
    pineapple, cherries, pudding, whipped topping, nuts and coconut.
    Crumble second layer on
    top of other and repeat as above.
    Refrigerate.
    Serves a large number of people, at least 35.
