Corn Cob Jelly - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    12 bright red cobs
    3 pt. water
    1 pkg. Sure-Jell
    3 c. sugar
Preparation
    Boil broken cobs in water for 30 minutes.
    Remove from heat and strain the liquid of not more than 3 cups.
    Add Sure-Jell and bring to a rolling boil.
    Add sugar and boil for 2 to 3 minutes or until jelly stage.
    The finished product tastes a lot like apple jelly.
