German Beef Cakes - cooking recipe

Ingredients

4 c. or so mashed potatoes (enough for 4 servings)
1/4 c. chopped green onions (with tops)
2 c. ground beef, cooked and drained
1 egg, slightly beaten
2 Tbsp. flour
1/2 tsp. garlic salt
1/8 tsp. pepper
2 to 3 Tbsp. butter

Preparation

Prepare mashed potatoes (I used leftovers).
Stir in onions, ground beef, egg, garlic salt and pepper.
Shape into 8 patties. Coat with flour.
