Smothered Steak And Onions - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 (4 oz.) lean, cubed sirloin steaks
    1/2 tsp. salt-free lemon-herb seasoning
    vegetable cooking spray
    1 medium onion, sliced and separated into rings
    1 tsp. beef flavored bouillon granules
    1 c. hot water
    1 Tbsp. cornstarch
    1/4 c. water
    2 c. cooked long grain rice, cooked without salt or fat
    fresh parsley sprigs (optional)
Preparation
    Sprinkle steak with lemon-herb seasoning.
    Coat a large nonstick skillet with cooking spray; place over medium heat until hot.
    Add steak and cook 2 minutes on each side to sear.
    Arrange onion rings over steak.
    Combine bouillon granules and hot water, stirring well; add to skillet.
    Bring to a boil; cover, reduce heat and simmer 12 to 15 minutes or until onion is tender.
    Remove steak and onion from skillet; keep warm.
