Banana Oatmeal Cookies - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 1/2 c. flour, sifted
1 c. sugar
1/2 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. nutmeg
3/4 tsp. cinnamon
3/4 c. shortening
1 egg, well beaten
1 c. (2 to 3) ripe bananas, mashed
1 3/4 c. rolled quick oats
1/2 c. nuts, chopped
Preparation

Sift
together\tflour,\tsugar,\tsoda,
salt, nutmeg and cinnamon
into
a
mixing bowl.
Cut in shortening.
Add eggs, bananas, rolled oats and nuts.
Beat until thoroughly blended. Drop by teaspoonfuls, about 1 1/2 inches apart, onto ungreased cookie sheet.
Bake
in
a\t400\u00b0 oven for 15 minutes, or until done.
Remove
from
pan immediately.
Makes 3 1/2 dozen cookies.
