Kitty'S Best Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 box yellow cake mix
    1 large can crushed pineapple
    1 c. sugar
    1 box French vanilla pudding
    1 (8 oz.) Cool Whip
    1/2 c. flaked coconut
    1 c. chopped nuts
Preparation
    Bake cake as directed on box.
    Let cool.
    Punch holes with fork.
    Cook pineapple and sugar together for 15 minutes.
    Pour over cake after cooling.
    Make pudding as directed on box.
    Spread over cake and pineapple.
    Add coconut and nuts.
    Chill overnight.
