Hamburg Soup - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 lb. lean ground beef
1 can stewed tomatoes
8 oz. V-8 juice
1/3 c. split peas
1/3 c. barley
2 tsp. Italian seasoning
1 bay leaf
salt and pepper
2 Tbsp. beef bouillon
5 c. water
2 stalks celery
3 carrots
1 onion
Preparation
-
Brown beef with onion.
Drain off fat.
Add all ingredients. Bring to boil.
Simmer 1 1/2 hours or until peas and barley are soft.
