100 Year Old Pie Crust - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 1/2 c. all-purpose flour
    1 c. Crisco shortening
    1 tsp. salt
    1 egg
    1 1/2 tsp. white vinegar
    1/4 c. water
    1/2 tsp. butter extract (optional)
Preparation
    Blend first 3 ingredients with a fork or pastry blender.
    Beat together egg, vinegar, water and extract and add to flour mixture. Mix well and shape into pie crusts.
    Use right away or freeze. If dough dries while rolling out, add a few drops of water and mold together dry, broken places.
