Sausage In Tomato And Sage - cooking recipe
Ingredients

4 pieces sausage, butterflied
3 cloves garlic
1 onion
parsley
1/4 c. lemon juice
1 c. peeled tomatoes
1/4 c. red wine
1/2 Tbsp. sage
1/2 Tbsp. oregano
1/2 Tbsp. basil
2 Tbsp. oil
6 oz. heavy cream or boil 6 oz. milk
Preparation

Saute sausage in 1/2 tablespoon oil.
After turning, add juice and simmer 5 minutes.
Chop vegetables and saute in 1 1/2 tablespoons oil, adding sage, basil and oregano.
Add tomatoes, cream and red wine; simmer 5 to 10 minutes.
Add sausage to sauce. Serve over pasta (rotini).
