Beverly Anne'S Manybean Soup - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 onions, chopped
    1 1/2 tsp. paprika
    8 to 10 c. water
    2 bay leaves
    1 c. lima beans
    1 1/2 tsp. dill weed
    1 slice lean ham
    1 c. pinto beans
    1 Tbsp. celery seed
    1 c. kidney beans
    1 c. yellow split peas
    salt to taste
    pepper to taste
Preparation
    Saute onions or boil with other ingredients.
    Add pinto beans with 4 cups water, paprika, celery seed and bay leaves.
    Cook for 1 hour.
    Wash and add kidney beans and limas.
    Add more liquid, if needed.
    Cook 1 more hour.
    Add peas, dill and salt.
    Add liquid to keep soup soupy.
    Cook 1 more hour.
