Ingredients

2 (13 1/2 oz. each) cans pineapple tidbits (or crushed)
2 c. sugar
1 lb. cranberries
1 c. light raisins
1/4 tsp. each: allspice and salt
1/2 tsp. each: ginger and cinnamon
dash of cayenne pepper (if handy)
Preparation

Drain pineapple and put aside.
Mix its juice with sugar, cranberries, raisins, spices, salt and cayenne in a heavy saucepan.
Cook to boiling.
Lower heat and simmer 20 minutes. Add pineapple; simmer 10 minutes more.
Keep either in deep freeze or refrigerate if paraffin sealed.
