Pecan Praline Cake - cooking recipe

2 c. light brown sugar
1/2 c. butter or margarine
2 eggs
1 c. buttermilk
1 tsp. soda
2 c. plain flour
2 Tbsp. cocoa
1 Tbsp. vanilla
Preparation

The temperature of the buttermilk is what makes the cake, about 110\u00b0.
Warm buttermilk and butter.
Put in mixing bowl.
Add brown sugar and eggs.
Beat.
Add dry ingredients, sifted together.
Beat well. Add vanilla. Bake in greased and floured rectangular 9 x 12 x 2-inch pan at 350\u00b0 for 20 to 25 minutes.
