Hamburger Puffs - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 Tbsp. butter or margarine
    2 medium onions, thinly sliced
    6 slices bread
    1 c. milk
    2 eggs
    1/2 c. finely chopped green pepper
    1 tsp. seasoned salt
    1 lb. ground beef
    9 thin onion slices
Preparation
    Melt butter in skillet; add onions and saute until golden brown.
    Crumble bread into mixing bowl; add milk.
    Let stand until bread is moist.
    Add eggs and mix well.
    Add onion, green pepper and salt.
    Add meat and mix well.
    Pile mixture lightly into greased 2 1/2-inch muffin pans.
    Top each with thin onion slice. Bake in 425\u00b0 oven until browned, about 30 minutes.
